The ATMA-FBRP is an afforestation and biodiversity restoration initiative implemented at Munnodi Devasthanam, Alappuzha, across more than one acre of land. Supported through CSR assistance from Firmenich Aromatics, the project has successfully planted over 2,500 trees to date. Strong community engagement practices ensure long-term ecological sustainability and collective ownership of the restored landscape.
The first phase of the project was inaugurated on March 12th, with the planting of the Nakshatra Vanam, a sacred grove with trees linked to zodiac stars. By connecting nature with culture, we aim to ensure that environmental protection becomes a part of the community’s fabric - reviving a concept that has always been at the heart of our tradition.
