    Essay Writing & Painting Competitions on the topic for school & college students on 25th Sept. Over 200 Participants


  • Perspectives Conclave 

    25th – 29th Sept

    – 5 day series of talks on Woman Empowerment From Various Perspectives such as Literature, Vedas, Christian Scriptures, Sw. Vivekananda, Mahatma Gandhi etc. 10 speakers, over 1000 participants.


  • 3– Day Conference on Women’s Rights, Issues & Empowerment

    Sept 30th 5 pm – Oct 2nd 8 pm


  • Seminars & Panel Discussions – Over 50 speakers addressed more than 20 topics over 3 days. Topics ranged from the role of education in gender sensitisation to the influence of media, politics etc in woman empowerment.
  • Cultural events – Dance, Music & Magic to highlight the cause
  • Kavisammelanam – Highlighting the cause through poetry
  • Community Garba Dance – More than 500 girls and women participated in this event designed to Help them Break their Shell and Overcome fears and inhibitions
  • Upavaasam 9 ATMA foundation members fasted for 51 hours as a symbol of our commitment towards the cause. 12 others fasted for 24 hours.
  • Info Booths– Service stall by District Legal Services Authority, Burn Victim assistance stall by Ganga Hospital,  Coimbatore, Free Health check-up by Arya Medical Centre and Awareness booth by RSETI was set up at the conference venue.
  • Free Booklet Distribution – A booklet detailing important legal protections for women, government schemes and important contact numbers was released and distributed.
